Umhlatuze Pharmacy Group is owned by Dr. GP Kriel known as Taffy by the community.
Since the opening of Dr. Kriel's first pharmacy in 1986 the group has expanded to 6 branches and a Wholesaler, with a further 2 pharmacies opening in 2024 and another 2 in 2025.

Our pharmacies strive to provide excellent service to every customer and their needs. The Pharmacies have a free delivery system and now we will be introducing a “Live” “Ask your Pharmacist” chat line to make things even more convenient for you.
Our complete commitment to the community we have our Pharmacies and Clinics open from 08h00 till 20h00 at night. Our dispensary is open form 08h00 till 20h0 as well and we have a Responsible Pharmacist on standby should it be required.
We offer a wide range of medications in the front shop and dispensary with both originals and generics, with a great working and professional relationships with the Medical practitioners in and around the KZN area.
In 2024 Umhlatuze pharmacy group took there stores online with their new portal called UPHARM.
